To celebrate the publication of his new book This is Improbable, Marc Abrahams – editor of the science humour magazine Annals of Improbable Research and the founder of the Ig Nobel Prizes – will be hosting a party at Conway Hall in London.
Expect a gaggle of excited scientists, journalists, researchers and science comminucators, along with a few other improbably interesting folk talk about research on why books on ethics are more likely to get stolen, what time of month generates higher tips for Las Vegas lap dancers, and other WTF research.
Confirmed speakers include Nick Doody, Michael Brooks, Helen Arney, Timandra Harkness, Mo Costandi, Alom Shaha, Simon Ings, Neil Denny, Alice Bell, Chloe Kembery, Stevyn Coglan, Helen Zaltzman, and Aarathi Prasad. Many more to be confirmed!
